Typological standards

Submitted articles must fit into one of the following categories:

Research Article
A document that presents in detail the original results of completed research. Manuscripts should be between 8,000 and 12,000 words.
The structure of the article must include at least the following elements:

  1. Title: in English.
  2. Abstract: in English.
  3. Keywords: in English. Minimum of 10.
  4. Introduction: presents the objectives, scope, and originality of the text; it may include a broader theoretical development if the topic requires it.
  5. Methodology: presentation of the epistemological, methodological, and ethical aspects of the research.
  6. Analysis: descriptive presentation of the results.
  7. Discussion: linking the analysis with the current theoretical discussion, considering the main findings and differences.
  8. Conclusions: synthesis of results and contributions, and achievement of objectives.
  9. References: minimum of 35 bibliographic sources.

Review Article
A document that presents the results of a completed research study that offers an updated view on a relevant field of study, allowing the identification of advances in the area and the main theoretical and methodological trends. Its main feature is a comprehensive literature review with at least 50 references. Manuscripts should be between 8,000 and 12,000 words.
The structure of the article must include the following elements:

  1. Title: in English.
  2. Abstract: in English.
  3. Keywords: in English.
  4. Introduction: presents the objectives, scope, and originality of the text; it should define the scope and type of review conducted.
  5. Review Methodology: presentation of the epistemological, methodological, and ethical aspects of the research.
  6. Presentation of Results: outlines the main findings of the review.
  7. Conclusions: synthesis of the results and contributions, and achievement of objectives.
  8. References: due to the nature of this article, at least 50 references are required.
