Submission Preparation Checklist
Contributions must be submitted in Word format (.doc or .docx) to the email address sst.journal@cotecmar.com, or through the platform on the website, after prior registration. Manuscripts must not exceed 12,000 words in total, including visual aids and footnotes, excluding the bibliography. Longer articles will be accepted exceptionally. Manuscripts must comply with the editorial guidelines.
Checklist for Submission Preparation
As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify compliance with all the following items. Manuscripts that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.
- The manuscript is original, and the authors commit to not submitting it simultaneously to other publications. To confirm this, the Statement of Originality must be attached (Download it here).
- The author contribution form (Download it here) must indicate the name and surname of each author, identifying their role in the development of the manuscript, according to the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT).
- The manuscript is written in English.
- The manuscript has been submitted in a format compatible with the latest version of Word.
- The manuscript complies with all the requirements set in the Journal’s Author Guidelines (Download it here).
- The manuscript complies with the Journal’s Ethical Policies.
- The authors ensure that their manuscripts adhere to the principles of Scientific Research Integrity, as outlined in the Singapore Declaration.
- If the article is derived from a research project, the project name or code, funding source, and year must be indicated.
- Whenever possible and available, URL links should be included in the references.
- Whenever possible, the DOI code should be included in the references.
- Whenever possible, the article should be linked to the dataset, including a full citation and DOI of the dataset (e.g., Cepowski, Tomasz (2024), “WaveResist (WIN/MAC): An Artificial Neural Network Tool for Ship Wave Resistance Coefficient Calculation”, Mendeley Data, V2, http://www.doi.org/10.17632/nggvmdpbrt.2).
