Fraud in research

Ship Science and Technology (Cartagena) accepts only articles derived from bona fide scientific research; therefore, authors must provide information about the study on which their manuscript is based. Moreover, during the peer‑review process, experts evaluate aspects such as methodologies, presentation of results, argumentation, and resulting conclusions, to ensure the coherence and accuracy of the information presented as well as its relevance and contribution to the field.
Authors are advised to have available the evidence supporting all information used, since both data and other source materials may be requested by the editor and/or reviewers. Any manipulation, falsification, or fabrication of citations or data will be sufficient grounds for rejection of the manuscript.
